All week I have been sharing DIY Halloween ornaments. So far, we’ve talked monsters and doll stew. Today, let’s show the cute side of creepy with some kitties. This Halloween, I decided to give my beloved Candy Corn Tree the witch treatment, and no witch is complete without her black cat.

Meowsers! These are some cute kitty ornaments! Not just any kitty, black cats purrrfect for a Candy Corn Halloween tree. Not only that, these kitties are super duper easy to make. Grab yourself some black round ornaments and let’s do this!

SUPPLIES
- Black ornaments
- Stiffened black felt
- Orange craft foam
- White craft foam
- Scissors
- Black pipe cleaners
- Googley eyes
- Sharpies
- Pink pompom
- Hot glue gun and hot glue

Cut two triangles from stiffened black felt. Cut two smaller triangles from orange craft foam. Add orange triangles to black triangles. Glue what are now ears onto the top of the black ornaments.

Using a Sharpie, draw a mouth onto the white craft foam. Glue a pink pompom for a nose on top. Attach it to the center of the ball. Cut 6 short pieces of black pipe cleaner. Using hot glue, attach them under the white muzzle. Add eyes and any other embellishments.

No candy corn themed witch tree is complete without the black cats! These cuties look perfect next to the DIY Witch ornaments I made.
