We hope you love Easter puns, because we’re back again for another eggs-hilarating project! To conclude our Craft Month series, we will be creating bunny bottle containers out of used PET bottles. With Jen Perkins as our guide, you only need these few materials and tools. Read on to learn more!

How to Create Bottle Bunnies
Supplies:
- Recycled PET bottles
- Acrylic Paint
- Paint Brush
- Scissors
- Retractable Cutter
- Markers
- Sandpaper

Step 1: Remove any labelling from the bottle, then outline your bunny’s shape with a marker.

Step 2: Use the outline as a guide to cut form your bunny. Make sure to carefully watch over any kids who are following with you during this step.

Step 3: Sand the edges to keep them smooth and avoid cuts.

Step 3: Paint over your bunny piece.

Step 4: Add in your final touches, like drawing your bunny’s face or painting in the inner ear with pink paint.

Step 5: Wait for the paint to dry and it’ll be ready to hold a wide array of objects: plants, confetti, etc.

That’s it for this year’s National Craft Month! We hope you enjoyed creating your own Easter decorations and continue to have a wonderful year ahead. Are you ready for Easter next month? Let us know about your plans are in the comment section below!
