Saying a hot pink tree won’t work for Halloween is like telling me you can’t have a black tree at Christmas or an orange tree for Valentine’s Day. It’s your Halloween, you decide how to decorate. I happen to think this Hot Pink Treetopia Tree looks pretty spiffy decorated for Halloween.
It’s all about the decorations when styling a themed holiday tree. Sure you need your filler ornaments, so always start there. I opted for black and white. Next, I added some Halloween ornaments and small black and white pumpkins. A garland of sorts is always a good idea, like this wired black yarn. An amazing tree has lots of depth, layers, and interesting elements. I’m a big fan of floral picks and that’s where these black and white painted sticks come in. Next comes what I like to call the icing. My icing are washi tape-covered half pumpkins (remember them last year on my Candy Corn Tree) and vintage masks. If this was the icing, the sprinkles are always mirrored or iridescent balls on the tips of the branches—something to catch the light and sparkle.
