Decorating for the 4th of July

Posted by Jennifer Perkins in Decorating Ideas for Every Christmas Tree

Christmas trees in July, I have one (or two) every year. The beauty of the Winter White Potted Pine Tree is that it can be decorated for almost any occasion – Cinco de Mayo, Easter, Mardi Gras or 4th of July.

The same theory holds true for the Treetopia Winter White Christmas Garland. With the help of a few red, white, and blue embellishments, my mantle was looking patriotic in no time. I knew that Abe Lincoln planter and Ronald Regan shot glass were good ideas.

Last year, I made a set of Presidential Spoon Puppets, and this year they are making another appearance as a tree topper. Who better to sit atop a 4th of July tree than Abe and George?

The inside of my house is ready for the 4th of July. Now it’s time to work on the outside!
