Amazing Places to Visit: Couples Edition

Posted by Treetopia in The Treetopian Lifestyle

Treetopia has listed down some romantic destinations for a memorable trip with your partner

The excitement surrounding Valentine’s Day may be over but it doesn’t mean you can’t still be in a romantic mood. If you’re planning an intimate escape for you and your partner, consider these romantic destinations on Treetopia’s list:

A Taste of Culture and the Arts

If you and your partner love to immerse yourselves in culture and enjoy the excitement of a bustling city, then New York is the place to go. Take snapshots as you explore the city or dress up and take pleasure in Broadway or Off-Broadway productions. Find inspiration at the Metropolitan Museum or have a nice, romantic carriage ride around Central Park. When you’ve had your fill, you can head on over to the scenic Niagara Falls and cuddle as you enjoy the view of cascading water.

A Historic Route

If you’re both lovers of history, you might enjoy touring one of the oldest cities in the U.S.: Boston. There are many ways to explore Boston. You can walk the Freedom Trail, explore historic neighborhoods, or simply walk or bike around and enjoy the fine, time-tested architecture around the city.

A Nature Lover’s Sanctuary

Do you both enjoy being surrounded by the wonders of nature? Then immerse yourselves in the gorgeous scenic view Lake Tahoe offers. Whether you stay in the Northern or Southern area of Tahoe, an amazing view of the pristine blue lake will greet you. There is no contest to the beauty of the lake; even the famed author, Mark Twain, once said, “As it lay there with the shadows of the mountains brilliantly photographed upon its still surface, I thought it must be the fairest picture the whole earth affords.” There are a lot of activities you can enjoy in Tahoe but the most romantic thing to do is to cuddle together as you enjoy the amazing view of the setting sun.

A Wine Aficionado’s Paradise

Do visiting vineyards and tasting wine sound more appealing to both of you? Then you may want to consider vacationing in Napa Valley. With seemingly endless vineyards, fun wine-tasting tours, and incredibly romantic hotels, a Napa Valley getaway will surely kindle love.

A Tropical Retreat

If “sun, sea, and surf” is more your thing, then staying in a tropical paradise like Hawaii is a good choice. Whether you want to explore the rainforest, enjoy the view of gorgeous waterfalls, immerse in the local culture, or simply do as many activities by the beach as you can, the islands of Hawaii can offer both of you the experience of a lifetime.

Total Relaxation

Do you and your partner just want to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life? Lounge around the wide stretch of sandy beaches in Key West. Explore the historic sites and shipwreck museums or simply enjoy the whole day by the beach. If you want a break from the relaxed atmosphere by the shore, Key West also claims to have the liveliest nightlife in the Florida Keys.

Wherever you choose to vacation with your partner, it is important that both of you enjoy the activities lined up during your retreat. More often than not, shared experiences during travels strengthen the bond between couples. Spending more time together doesn’t hurt either.
