Cathie is the crafty entrepreneur behind cathiefilian.com, where she shares her love for vintage fabrics, big-eyed art, good food, antique shops, and her family. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two little daughters, and can usually be spotted with glitter on her face, baubles around her neck, and Mod Podge on her hands.

TT: In what way do small decorating touches make an impact?
Cathie: It really is the little things. My girls are 2 & 3 and they love all the little seasonal decorating touches I do around the house. It creates a warm and inviting environment plus it shows that I care. My hubby loves it too…but he isn’t a fan of storing all my stuff.

Jade Harrington is the editor and designer of JaderBomb, where she invites her readers to connect with her through recipes, holiday ideas, and crafts. Aside from the two loves of her life, she also loves her dog Ceaux Ceaux (who has her own Facebook page), black hot glue sticks, pens, washi tape, the smell of Christmas, gold, Dr. Pepper, and blogging.

TT: What are the little things that can make or break your design?
Jade: COLOR! Colors surely make it or break it for me. I like to express my true spirit and personality in all of my projects. Anything that sparkles and glistens gets an A+ in my book!

Jennifer Perkins is an Austin-based mama, thrift-a-holic, Treetopia Ambassador, and owner of JenniferPerkins.com. She is a mother of two, and has been married to her best friend Chris for 10 years. TT: What are the little things that can make or break your design?
Jen: I like a full tree with several layers and textures. I almost always start with tinsel and build out from there. Next I go in with solid colored balls like the Color Glaze or All Hue Need. From there I will I add something custom or funky and then maybe something springy on top of that. Layers. It is all about the layers.
