While Easter is still a month away, it is a great source of inspiration for our DIY projects this National Craft Month. Hop into spring and rediscover the joy of creating with Jen Perkins as your guide. This week, we will show you how to turn your ordinary ornaments into round, adorable bunnies! Here’s what you need to get started:

How To How to Create Bunny Ornaments

  • Felt
  • Glue Gun
  • Scissors
  • Ball ornaments
  • Pipe Cleaners
  • Pompoms
  • Sticker Beads or Buttons

Step 1: Create a pair of bunny ears using different colored sheets of felt. Cut out the same shape but about half the width and one-third the height.

Step 2: Glue the larger piece of felt ears onto the ball ornament on right spot, then glue the smaller one in place.

Step 3: Grab your pipe cleaners and cut them into three even lengths. Glue them onto the ornament face for the whiskers.

Step 4: Place a pompom on the middle of the whiskers for a cute little nose.

Step 5: Set the eyes firmly in place and you’ll have a bunny ornament.
