Pompom Spring Wreath

Posted by Jennifer Perkins in Home Decorating with Treetopia

Hot pink wreath covered in pompoms.

Pompoms, succulents, ocher yellow, and a hot pink Treetopia wreath – just a few of my favorite things. I wanted a spring wreath made from a very specific color pattern so that meant making it myself. Grab some yarn, put a show on to binge watch, and you can make one too.

Yarn pompoms are the key to this wreath – lots and lots of pompoms. Not just store bought acrylic pompoms, I’m talking handmade multi-colored yarn pompoms in varying colors. Don’t know how to make a pompom? I just so happen to have an episode of DIY This With Jennifer Perkins showing you exactly how.

Once you have a TON of yarn pompoms you also want to gather some faux succulents, smaller acrylic pompoms, and colored moss. Using a hot glue gun, start attaching items to your Hot Pink Treetopia Wreath. The more you add, the better it will look. Dense wreaths like this hot pink one, take a LOT of pompoms to look full, so keep that in mind.

Though it takes a lot of work, the end result is so worth it. I could not love this wreath more if I tried. It is perfect for spring and summer and with a few seasonal touches, I think I could make it work for Christmas too!
