Halloween Home Tour Day 2 – Black Tree

Halloween Home Tour

For this installment of our Halloween Home Tour, nothing says Halloween like a black tree. Well, maybe a Candy Corn tree, but this Tuxedo Black Christmas Tree from Treetopia in my living room definitely says it loud and proud! Last year, I decorated the black tree for DIY Network with my collection of vintage Halloween masks and a custom spider tree skirt; this year it’s all about the honeycomb witches and blow molds.

The wonderful thing about Christmas trees, or in this case Halloween trees, is they are great for displaying holiday collections. Things that might otherwise end up in shelves or on tabletops nestle perfectly in the branches of a lush tree.

Next to my black tree I have my Treetopia Tuxedo Black Garland on the mantel. Again, I used the garland like the tree to display a collection. Sure, there are ornaments on both like spiderwebs and witches, but the big impact comes from the vintage holiday collectibles.

Stop back right here to the Treetopia blog all week long for more of my Halloween home tour. I’ve still got my Some Like It Hot, Candy Corn, and Black and Gold Ombre Tree to share!
