Jen Perkins’ Colorful Christmas Home Tour Part 1

How to decorate an orange Christmas tree.

I’m a firm believer that when it comes to Christmas, more is always better—more trees, more color, more kitsch. I guess after a year of being the Treetopia brand ambassador, you already gathered all that. This holiday season, it is safe to say I have a tree in almost every color and in just about every room in my house, including orange.

Decorating a yellow tree for Christmas.

In my formal living room there are over 10 Christmas trees, including this little 60’s-inspired angel adorned vignette. One of my favorite new trees this year is my Treetopia Basics Yellow Christmas Tree. Who says Christmas trees can’t be yellow? With the right decorations, these little babies can be just as festive as any old evergreen.

Using a white Christmas garland.

Not just Treetopia trees, I also have garlands. This Winter White Christmas Garland has become a snowy home for the kitschy reindeer collection in my dining room. Did I mention it lights up—as do my drummer boy blow molds!

Beyond trees, wreaths and garlands, there are also plenty of things to decorate with at Treetopia. These Peppermint Twist Candy Cane ornaments look as amazing on my non-traditional Some Like It Hot Tree as they did last year on my Oh Christmas Tree.

Even my Christmas stockings are colorful. Duh. They match all the color on my Toasted Champagne Tree.
